To make a booking, please complete the online booking form and make a non-refundable deposit payment of £250 per person per course by Paypal or bank transfer to  Ambrosia Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd. Full payment is required 8 weeks before the start of your holiday by Paypal or bank transfer. Bookings made eight weeks or less before the start of your holiday must be accompanied with full payment.


The art courses are held at La Borie Grande, Campes, Tarn, 81170.  Accommodation is provided in our beautifully appointed rooms in the Manor House, Studio or Farmhouse. Quality linen and bath towels are provided along with some toiletries for bathing needs. Guests are encouraged to enjoy all public areas of the estate including Library, Grande Salon, Television Room, Art Studio, extensive gardens with gazebo, swimming pool and tennis court. Please do not enter the few areas marked “private”.


You may select your preferred accommodation on a first come - first serve basis during the booking process on this web site.  Some rooms are suitable for sharing with another painter and most rooms are suitable for a non-painting partner.


For safety and the comfort of our guests, all bedrooms and internal spaces in buildings at La Borie Grande are strictly non-smoking.


In the studio we provide the following equipment: easels, boards, tables, chairs, and cleaning equipment, together with fold-up camping chairs, boards and water bottles for field trips.  We encourage you to contact your course tutor for advice on materials you will need to bring for your specific painting holiday.


Please advise us of any special dietary requirements you may have at the time of booking and we will make every endeavour to meet your wishes.


You must make your own travel arrangements to recommended airports near to La Borie Grande: Toulouse-Blagnac is our prefered pick up location. We arrange free transfers to and from Toulouse-Blagnac Airport and Rodez Airport on your arrival day at a pre determind time, which will be advised prior to the start of the course. If you elect not to use the free transfers we will advise alternative transport options (at your cost) to La Borie Grande. We will provide free pick-up from Cordes-Vindrac Railway Station. 


All cancellations must be made to Ambrosia Enterprises in writing via email.  If your booking is cancelled before the balance of your holiday is due [ie 8 weeks prior], you will forfeit only your deposit.

If the balance remains unpaid less than 8 weeks before the commencement of the course you have booked, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

If, at the time of cancellation, you have paid the full amount, we will immediately try to re-sell your place. If successful, the cost of your holiday will be refunded to you, less your deposit. If unsuccessful, we reserve the right to retain the full payment for the holiday.


Painting courses at La Borie Grande generally require a minimum of five participants to proceed. If we do not have five confirmed bookings for a particular course 12 weeks before the planned commencement date we may cancel the course and return your deposit and/or full payment, less booking fees if any. It is recommended that you do not finalise your travel arrangements until we have confirmed we have the minimum number of bookings.

In the unlikely event that the Art Tutor is unable to provide your course, you will be offered:

  • the allocated tutor week’s stay at La Borie Grande, inclusive of all meals and usage of all facilities and a refund of the tutor’s teaching fee, OR
  • an alternative course on alternatives dates (subject to availability), OR
  • a full refund including deposit (if the first two offers are not acceptable to you).

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking for any other reason’ excepting Force Majeure, you will be offered your choice of:      

  • an alternative course on alternative dates (subject to availability) OR
  • a full refund including deposit.

We accept no responsibility for cancellation of booked holidays due to Force Majeure. This includes: acts of war, riots, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, strikes, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, water levels or other similar events out of our control. Under these situations, you would need to claim from your own insurance company.


The owner of La Borie Grande, Borie Grande Enterprises SAS and Ambrosia Enterprises Pty Ltd, or any other person or company related directly, or indirectly, with the booked holiday, will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any guest, at any time during the booked holiday, whether on La Borie Grande Estate or in the surrounding area. All guests, by making their booking, accept that they are staying at La Borie Grande and undertaking activities related to their Painting Holiday, at their own risk, and that they have read and fully understand the Liability and Insurance clauses.


You are free to use the pool and tennis court at any time. We endeavour to maintain these facilities in safe working order, but can accept no responsibility or liability for any accident, loss or damage in respect of use of the pool or court.


As a condition of your booking and for your own protection, please take out full holiday insurance to include cover for: accident & medical expenses, loss of personal property, personal liability, cancellations costs and activities. For EU residents, please make sure you have a valid EHIC card (European Health Insurance Card), previously called the E111 which is available from the Department of Health in the UK.


We will only use and store information about you and other members of your party for the purposes set out in our privacy policy. We do not share this information with any other companies.
